Fiesta Media Idola is is a sports carnival that aims to strengthen the media and artist relationship, as they compete in football, bowling (male and female) , women's futsal and netball. Two new events will be introduced this year, which are the 100m sprint and the 100m relay. FMI first started in 2005 with nine teams competing against each other, where KRU emerged as the overall champion. It features personalities from the media and entertainment industries, from singers, actors, newscasters, deejays, sports personalities, to members of the media.

Fiesta Media Idola 2007 was also held from 13 April 2007 until 15 April 2007 in Kuantan,Pahang.The open ceremony was held at Stadium Darul Makmur,Kuantan and it was be graced by the Sultan of Pahang ,Sultan Ahmad Shah. There were also be a stage performance by artists.
Datuk Siti Nurhaliza & Kris Dayanti rocked the stadium with their powerful vocals
